A plane. Length and width. A being here could see around flat obstacles but would be baffled by anything above or below. A sphere passing through their world would look like a circle appearing from nothing, growing, shrinking, and vanishing.

Our world. Length, width, depth. We can hold a sphere and see it all at once. But we experience time as a line — one moment after another. We can't see tomorrow any more than a 2D being can see "up."
4D
Add time as a spatial dimension. A being here would see your entire life the way you see a road — all of it at once, from birth to death. Past and future wouldn't exist. Just one shape. One object. Complete.
The implication
We think time flows. Past behind us, future ahead. But a dimension above us, it's all already there. Your entire life — every moment you've lived and will live — exists as a single, complete structure.
Time isn't passing. You're moving through it, the way your finger traces a line on paper. The line was always there.
